Full Bathroom Renovation
Project Overview
V21 Construction completed a full gut-to-finish bathroom renovation transforming an outdated Queens bathroom into a modern, high-quality space. The project included complete demolition, full wall re-tiling with marble-look porcelain, patterned floor tile installation, new vanity setup, updated plumbing fixtures, moisture-protected wall systems, and LED lighting for a brighter, upscale finish.
Analysis
The original bathroom showed signs of aging tile, water exposure behind wallboard, outdated plumbing, and poor ventilation around the skylight. Our team removed all existing finishes down to the studs, replaced compromised substrate, corrected plumbing height and alignment, and installed a moisture-resistant tile backer system. The design focus was clean lines, bright surfaces, patterned flooring for visual interest, and high durability across all materials.
Process
- Demolition and debris removal - Rough plumbing updates and shutoff relocation - Cement board install and waterproof membrane application - Tile layout, wall tile installation, and niche fabrication - Patterned floor tile installation and alignment - Electrical updates: LED vanity, recessed lighting, exhaust fan - Vanity install, faucet, mirror, and accessories - Final paint, cleanup, and homeowner walkthrough
Outcome
The completed bathroom now features bright, modern marble-look surfaces, bold patterned flooring, and cohesive matte-black fixtures. The skylight illumination works with the new lighting to make the space feel larger and more upscale. All plumbing and electrical systems meet current code, and the durable porcelain finishes ensure long life and low maintenance.
