Bathroom Renovation
Project Overview
V21 Construction completed a full bathroom renovation transforming an outdated pink-and-black Bronx bathroom into a bright, modern, and functional space. The scope included demolition, new plumbing fixtures, updated lighting, porcelain plank flooring, subway tile tub surround, moisture-resistant paint, a navy vanity with quartz countertop, and upgraded ventilation for long-term performance.
Analysis
Pre-renovation conditions showed dark finishes, deteriorated tile, outdated plumbing, and insufficient lighting despite a skylight. The old layout lacked storage, the tile absorbed light, and the ventilation system was inadequate. We improved illumination with LED fixtures, upgraded plumbing connections, waterproofed all wet areas, and introduced a clean gray-and-white palette to create a modern, durable, and visually open bathroom.
Process
- Demolition and debris removal - Plumbing and electrical rough-in adjustments - Waterproofing and wall tile installation - Floor tile installation and grout work - Vanity, mirror, faucet, and toilet installation - Lighting installation and exhaust fan upgrade - Painting, trim, and finishing touches - Final cleaning and homeowner walkthrough
Outcome
The completed bathroom delivers a clean, modern aesthetic with balanced lighting, durable finishes, and improved ventilation. The gray-and-white palette combined with the navy vanity elevates the look while maintaining functionality. Updated plumbing and electrical systems meet current standards, and the finished space feels brighter, larger, and significantly more comfortable.
