Apartment Remodel with Open Kitchen & Marble-Look Bath

V21 Construction remodeled an apartment with dated yellow and blue rooms, opening up the view between the living area and the kitchen. The finished home pairs continuous dark wood-look plank flooring with white walls and trim. A white kitchen peninsula and pendant lighting define the kitchen edge, and the bathroom was finished with a marble-look tub surround and a new vanity.

The original walkthrough shows several wall colors, an existing pass-through at the kitchen, and a bathroom with a pedestal sink and shower curtain. The before footage makes the window and doorway locations easy to recognize as the rooms change. During demolition, the kitchen walls and bathroom were opened to expose framing and utility runs.

The construction clips show removed finishes, wood studs and open doorways, followed by drywall installation and ceiling-light openings. In the bathroom, cement board is visible around the tub and at the recessed niche before the tile went in. The completed walkthrough follows the entry into the living space, then shows the kitchen and bathroom.

The white peninsula opens toward the living area and includes storage and an under-counter beverage cooler. The kitchen also accommodates a stacked washer and dryer beside the cabinet run. In the bathroom, large veined tile continues across the tub walls, with a recessed niche and a vanity below the mirror.
